Lorena Gálvez, Gender Specialist at the Instituto Mayor Campesino – IMCA in Colombia, shares with us the experience of the first meeting of the Gender Working Group of the Red Comparte. A space for dialogue, listening, and collective building that is advancing in the creation of a common gender framework to strengthen shared strategies and continue moving toward more just and equitable territories.
This meeting reaffirms that gender equity is not achieved in isolation, but through collaboration, mutual learning, and collective commitment. When organizations come together and weave shared commitments, transformation becomes deeper and more sustainable.
